SMGO-0898 Early Brass Alcoso Army Dagger with Distributor stamp

The guard appears to be an alcoso product. These early brass base metal daggers are significantly heavier than the later production examples. We can see the brass peeking through the finish on the high points of the guard. The scabbard also has brass hanger mounts which is easily seen. The scabbard is steel and has a modest indentation on the lower back side. The grip is solid celluloid with light wear and a tiny superficial and old crack on its right side above the lower ferrule. The blade is a hard to find distributor marked example by Albert Kuhl, Munster. It appears to be an un-plated blade with a high polish. This is a pretty hard dagger to find and you may not find a similar one with brass and distributor mark for a long time.
