Description
Bust of Hitler facing left surrounded by name and title, “Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler”. The medal is hallmarked, “BHM” (B.H. Mayer).
Reverse: The main devices inslude an eagle, wreath, and swastika, and a male torso with its arm raised in a Nazi salute. The inscription reads, “Heil / Dem Er- / Neuer / Deutschlands” or “Hail to the Germany’s Restorer”.
Struck in a base metal alloy with a silver wash, 41mm. These can be found in solid silver as well. There is a plethora of poor-quality reproductions of these so be careful!
