SMGP-1470 Luftwaffe HANS-JOACHIM VON HIPPEL signature(s)

(1893 – 1975) German World War I fighter pilot with Jasta 5, witnessed von Richthofen’s death, and in 1936 joined the Luftwaffe where he flew transport Junkers Ju 52. Postcard photographs, a montage showing von Hippel in portrait and his airplane flying under the Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne. The signature is well executed in dark, almost 3D ink. The reverse A a note to a  Herr Moller and is dated sept 1965. There is a return address sticker from the previous collector who owned it. Some creasing. Scarce and desirable signature.
