SMGP-1329 T Back Model 1916 Belgian long bayonet *SOLD

This is a rare opportunity to get this hard to find T-Back version of the M-1916 Belgian. It’s also the longer version with a stunning blade and still has the original almost impossible to find frog! This style was believed to be issued to the more elite or specialty troops of the Belgian army, possibly the field police. Try to find another online for sale with all these bells and whistles…betcha can’t! Maker marked C inside a circle. Frog marked JL 1940 on reverse. To me, this date means that the item was possibly never issued, as Belgium surrendered in may 1940…so this was produced right be for then, at least the frog anyway. Super neat item!
