SMGM-4200 Zollgrenzschutz (boarder guards) Police Service medal

We purchased a Deumer salesman board that was taken apart. A real shame, but the good news is most of the awards were in amazing condition. This is from one of those boards. If you Google “Deumer salesman board” or “Deumer Sample Board”, you can see how they were set up.

In the middle, at the top of these boards there is usually a medal that is “variable”. What i mean is, the medals on the boards are fairly consistent except this one spot that seems to be for less common awards that there likely was less stock of. Ive seen social welfare, nsdap long service and others. This spot is where i think this Zollgrenzschutz was located. It came with a very small Ribbon bar sized long service ribbon which didn’t look right with the size of the award, so I upgraded it to a proper wide version that is perfect. The medal is awesome with no finish loss or oxidation.
