Luftwaffe, NSFK, DLV (German Airforce)

As one of the main branches of the Wehrmacht there are tons of items to collect in this category. The Luftwaffe had it's hands in nearly all facets of the war. From pilots and planes, to flak and ground attack forces. They even had Panzer units!

The DLV (Deutscher Luftsport-Verband) incorporated all civilian flying clubs under one umbrella in 1933. Later, in 1937 the NSFK (Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps) replaced the DLV entirely and para militarized it. The ranking system and uniforms all point to SA influence and control as well. The job of the NSFK was to train hitler youth flying members and during war's out break, to insure the constant supply of fixed wing pilots to the Luftwaffe. DLV/NSKK collectors seem to split off from the Luftwaffe collectors, as the paramilitary organization is generally harder to collect.
