Customs & Water Police Protection Daggers

Both the Land and Marine Customs daggers were available in 193. Early versions were silver plated. The cast aluminum versions replaced them rather quickly, adding to the rarity of the early styles. Both daggers are identical except for the colors. Blue and gold for the Marine, green and silver for the Land.

The only Police organization who was authorized to wear a dagger was the Wasserschutzpolizei or Water protection police. The dagger was available in 1938 and is the same as a first model Navy except for the blue leather grip . They can be found with a police insignia embedded in the grip as well.
