Not sure on the date of this piece but id take a stab are the 70’s or early 80’s. This is an excellent UNUSED plaque produced by NAP Plaques. The back can be popped out and it can free stand on a counter/desk or be hung. Comes with the original envelope that has an irrelevant phone number on it. Nice piece, personally I would frame it and put in in an office or man cave. Measures 9″x7″.

Cantone’s award-winning cartoons and caricatures graced The News’ pages from 1959 to 1991. Cantone broke into newspapers with a five-year stint as courtroom artist for Newsday in 1954. He also served five years as a weekly contributor to Editor & Publisher magazine. Over his prolific career, he was nominated three times for the Pulitizer Prize. His television credits include “The Wall Street Journal Report,” and courtroom art for WPIX-TV. He is survived by a wife and three adult children.
