SMG-UF21 German WW2 Canteen *SOLD

Textbook example of the famous German ww2 canteen. Canteen?is manufactured out of Aluminum body, and?remains dent free. The brown felt outer covering is?devoid of any holes or mothing, and rates?excellent.??The leather that connects the twist off top is still nice and strong,?and the leather strap that keeps it all together is?supple and thick. Near mint is the the innner orange gasket.?The belt hanger is present and with crisp paint to boot.?What keeps this canteen from rating near mint is the small hairline crack in the bakelite cup. There are the initials “JK’ carved into one side of?the?cup, and a marking on the bottom which reads ”7w” over an “S”.?Overall, this is a super?clean?piece with the added bonus of?it being personalized. Hard to find them like this?anymore, as many are missing their bakelite cups. These canteens rarely come out of the woodwork this clean. Priced nicely and ready to move.
