SMGA-362 Heim Ins Reich Pin *SOLD

This hard to find pin is in fantastic shape! Enamel is 100% and showing some minor signs of age. The base metal is a copper alloy. Maker marked “J.B.”. Gorgeous piece. Translates to “back to the Reich” or “home in the nation”, a slogan for the policy to annex territories lost in WW1 with majority German populations back into Germany. Commonly referred as an Austrian resettlement pin, although I believe these were actually issued to the only Nazi sanctioned political party in the NSDAP as this was also their slogan.
