Description
Recently acquired from a customer in the military stationed in Germany. Nice example of a late war cross with pin back construction. Maker marked “4” in the pin. Cross grades excellent +. Case shows obvious wear but the felt is still secure in the box. The paper part of the hinge is completely torn, however the silk inner portion of the hinge is still 100% and keep the box together fairly well. The box grades fair +.
