SMGB-105 1938 Pattern EM Luftwaffe Buckle *SOLD

Nice looking two piece construction buckle. The box is steel and the affixed medallion is aluminum. You can see some light oxidation in spots on the steel, but the finish is nearly 90% or better through out. One of the retention “ears” that affixes the wreathed eagle to the box his missing/broken off. It does not appear to have been pried off. I wonder if it snuck through the quality control line at the factory this way. There is no maker mark which is expected on this model.
