Description

*REDUCED* Gorgeous textbook example of a single decal m-42 Luftwaffe.?This is one of the nicest M-42s that we’ve come across in a while in regards to the exterior paint, which has stood the test of time. The shell has retained its original beautiful Luftwaffe grey textured paint which is still sharp. I can honestly tell you that this helmet is an eyecatcher and makes an impression from ten feet away. Inside you will find clearly stamped on inside rim ET66. The rear interior skirt is also?stamped?1987. The gorgeous second pattern Luftadler is clear, sharp, crisp and all there. The cream colored m-35 liner is still in great shape, still supple and pliable, and has seen minimal wear. It is clearly stamped 59.?The only thing that keeps this helmet from being mint is that there is about a 6 inch tear in the liner on the the backside of left rim. In spite of this, this helmet is still a looker. The liner still retains its true original drawstring?still in fantastic condition. The inside dome stamp is?nice and ledgible. The original brown chinstrap is solid in shape, but a bit stiff with age. Present on the chinstrap?is some ”yellow dirt” from the past. If you are looking for a helmet that stands out above the rest, and has tons of character, this one is for you. Priced right and ready to go.
