SMGL-2326 Double Decal Nazi Police Helmet *SOLD

This is a nice salty example of a Civil helmet for police use. It comes with a complete liner, although the leather is very dry. The helmet also has some type of extra cloth stuffed under the liner. I would assume this was for extra comfort of the wearer, as the liners on the civil helmets were pretty unforgiving. There are dents around the helmet but the paint and decals are pretty good. Appears to have been painted green over the original black color. It was likely done because there wearer was going into combat and there was either a supply shortage or he was in the Volkssturm (peoples army). I can’t see any stamps, the but it is about 26in around.
