Description
This is a pretty rare item that seldom comes up for sale. This is a large original six-panel Third Reich Schmuckblatt intended for Den Muttern und Frauen unserer Gefallenen zum Muttertag, a special decorative patriotic Mother’s Day message from Adolf Hitler to mothers of fallen Wehrmacht soldiers in 1944. Published by the Main Culture Office of the Reichspropagandaleitung der NSDAP, this Schmuckblatt was produced by Hermann Liese and printed by Erasmusdruck in Berlin. The beautifully decorated ‘card’ contains quotations from Adolf Hitler, Dr. Joseph Goebbels and German poet Herbert Sailer, as well as a story by a German mother, reassuring grieving mothers that the ever growing number of dead did not die in vain! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>We all have but one thing that really makes our lives worth living on this earth: that is our own Nation, which for us Germans is our Germany. We stand within this nation. We live with its people and are connected in good times and bad. Our highest and holiest duty is to preserve this Nation. For that goal, no sacrifice is too great. Adolf Hitler
It does have a missing torn of piece at the bottom of the Hitler statement. Some light stains and wear but in good condition overall.
