A desirable Field Marshall Signature done post ware on a Glossy portrait. Nice contrast on the signature done in felt tip marker. Shows various notes on the back and evidence of being stripped out of a photo album. There are a few orange blemishes on the photo.
FERDINAND SCHORNER (1892 – 1972) German field marshal, highly successful during the German campaigns in Poland and the Balkans, commanding the 98th Mountain Regiment. He lived until 1973 and spent time in prison in West Germany, East Germany and the Soviet Union.
