SMGO-0026 Stripped Officer’s Tunic by Traugott Rahne Hannover Rudolf Rojahn Grouping

$600.00

Out of stock

Description

A fine quality tunic in near mint condition with minor signs of use and wear. No mothing that I could find. A terrific base for a quality restoration. Rojahn was in the Cavalry and later, the General Staff. So there are a few ways you could reconstruct this if you would want to be accurate to the previous owner. Shoulder to cuff = 24″, back 15″, chest 13.5″

Also included is a train pass for Rojahn that was folded in the breast pocket. A nice little bonus. Ohh, by the way, the original officer stripped this down after the war so he could wear it on other occasions. Not us!

Rojahn was a junior officer in the 262 Infantry Division (Cavalry) during the start of the war. His final assignment and rank was a Major in the General staff and given General Command of the XVth Cossack Cavalry Corps which at that time was part of the Waffen SS. His items will be available as they are acquired from his son who is letting them go in small groups.
