Description
A rare opportunity to pick up a very desirable bowie knife that was published in the December 2000 volume 14, no 6 issue of Knives Illustrated. The bowie is in fantastic condition and was made by the Alexander Sheffield company. The blade shows some wear but still very desirable condition. The scabbard also shows some wear. The genuine mother of pearl grip plates are flawless.
The key feature with this knife is that the knife comes with a period photo of the original soldier wearing it! There is a note on the back from a relative as well.
There are only a handful of knives from this period with photo provenance, making this an insanely rare item that is investment quality. Comes with a copy of the magazine.
