SMGO-0351 RAD Leader Dagger by Boker

RAD Leader daggers by Boker don’t surface too much. Seems like Alcoso had the biggest contract for these daggers. This is an earlier all aluminum version with silvered fittings. The Aluminum hilt apparently wasn’t a great surface for the silvering to adhere to, so it shows a fair amount of finish loss. The steel scabbard on the other hand, still retains much of the silver finish and the colors fluctuate made on air exposure and lacquer wear. The scabbard is in dent free condition and is attractive in hand. One of the throat screws is missing but the threads are not stripped out so it should be easily replaceable if you find the proper screw. The polished blade looks nice with some haziness in spots from previous light oxidation that was remedied. The Motto “Arbeit adelt” still looks good and has not been polished out. The RAD triangle and Boker logo still look as good as the day the dagger left the factory. A great opportunity to pick up a scarce dagger with a lesser seen maker.
