SMGO-0826 Chained NSKK dagger Transitional Eickhorn (double proofed)

Let’s start with the blade on this one because its a GEM! A beautiful double etched logo, showing the RZM logo with M7/66 1938 designation and then the perfectly executed Eickhorn logo beneath it. The blade shows gorgeous cross grain on both sides. The blade shows typical runner wear. No too heavy but noticeable. Shows trace amounts of oxidation. The guards are typical RZM style being plated zinc and they show trace amounts of plate lifting. Kind of a hard thing to avoid on these daggers but this one still looks really nice. The grip is about as mint as you can get with no issues at all and the nice earlier style nickel eagle. The scabbard is in good overall condition and shows some moderate oxidation throughout. Certainly not a mint scabbard but not an eyesore either. The chain is plated steel and in similar condition. You get a bonus leather belt loop with this one. A really nice example of a scarce dagger that’s always in demand.
