SMGO-0847 Hitler Youth Knife by Hamesfahr Early type

Desirable early type with motto and steel hilt with thick nickel plating. There is some plating lifting on the top of the hilt. The diamond looks to be in good shape but i do think this is a glued in replacement. The blade is free from any heavy grinding marks or edge wear and just shows a light evenly spotted blade. The Blut und Ehre motto is easily readable in hand. The make logo is the very early type without the Ges Gesch addition that came later. The leather is in good shape with a functioning button. The scabbard is dent free with moderate but not severe, wear. A nice opportunity to pick up an earlier HJ knife that seem hard to find lately.
