Description
This bronze badge had some thick zinc pest scale that was excavated and hit with some wax in order to keep the badge from further oxidizing. So, you will see two noticeable silver-gray areas. One on the eagle and the other on the tank. The rest of the badge is in remarkably good condition. It’s interesting to see how the zinc oxidized in just these two areas on an otherwise mint badge.
