SMGP-259 Army Dagger By WKC *SOLD

This dagger has a lot of great things going for it. Firstly and most importantly, the blade is choice, excellent++ with nearly all of the original cross graining, no major oxidation and very light runner marks. The scabbard has a good amount of silvering still intact, which is hard to find at this price point. The pommel, though zinc, shows some sort of rust looking stain. I’m wondering if it will come out with some work. the grip is an attractive light yellow celluloid and is a bit loose. The pommel is snug and I am unable to remove it with out forcing it. So it’s the new owners choice if they want to gamble.
The ferrule is standard steel, sliver plated. The cross guard has held up very well with most of the finish intact. A beautiful dagger at a great price.
