These iron cross 2nd class award documents can be tough to find, considering the amount of EK2 that were awarded. The rank of Gefreiten in the wehrmacht was considered the equivalent of lance corporal. This document has the commanding officer original signature, issue date and infantry division stamp. It has been folded in quarters, but is still in good shape.
