SMGP-491 WW1 EK2 W/ in field award document & photo *SOLD

Maker marked Iron cross (I can’t make out the number). Nice been there done that look to it. Ribbon is a post war no glow. The award document is dated 1918. These infield awards from any era are hard to find as they were folded up and put in the soldiers pocket and often were severely damaged, lost or buried with the soldier. This one some how made it home. The picture is not the same person, as it is dated 1917. It was acquired with the cross and document, so it stays. It does make a nice presentation with the other prices.
