SMGUF-110 German Pre WW 2 Binoculars *SOLD
Out of stock
These just came in from out or the woodwork! A nice salty example of pre WW2 German binoculars. As with optics, these are are marked on the outside left with the manufacturer- ”VOIGTLANDER”. Underneath that, there is a stamping which reads “BRAUNSCHWEIG”, and the power stamping- 6×25. Present also is the serial number 36931. All optics appear to work well, and without problems. There is wearing of paint around the outer rims, and the adjustable eye pieces have some chipping, but i can live with that, all things considered. The brown leather neck strap is still in great shape, and all other leather throughout is good and sound. Its bakelite carrying case looks new and still keeps its black leather interior padding. German wartime binoculars were issued and marked ”Dienstglas”, or literally translated “service issue”. However, not present on these, its a clear indication that these are from an earlier unknown pre-war date. Priced right, considering the demand for optics, and this one has all the goodies- the brown leather strap, bakelite carrying case, and nice leather.
