WW1 German Sword blade! Live Auction ends 4/5! SOLD!

Out of stock

gorgeous blade is 33″ long with a 5″ tang very clean etching with the motto “in treue fest” wihich means Steadfast With Loyalty in german. This Bavarian blade is marked with an early style double squirrel and C.E. as appropriate for a Carl Eickhorn made pieces at this time. There is some chrome flaking near the tip on one side. This should polish out well to hide it if you are willing to put some time into it. There is also a slight bend at the tip, perhaps it was dropped at one point. Its not severe and should be fixed easily. this is a great blade to upgrade a severely damaged sword blade. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121088069794?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
