SMGO-0803 NSKK dagger by M/742 (WKC) with Christmas Engraved guards

A stellar dagger! Let’s start with the killer blade that’s a 9 out of 10 all day long. Beautiful cross graining and minimal runner marks! The grip is chip free and shows only light scuffs and indentations from the belt clip. It’s a pretty red with an aluminum eagle. The nicke plated guards read “weihnachten 1938” on the bottom and “N.S.K.K. Sturm 15/m” on the top. there is some plate lifting on the guards, but they still look excellent overall. The scabbard is phenomenal with a dent free scabbard and better than 95% paint remaining. Some wear to the paint but still very nice. The upper and lower plated guards look fantastic with no oxidation issues and nice screws that show no signs of being turned. This dagger comes with a well worn RZM marked hanger that is marked on the leather and clip. You also get a belt loop with D ring that is also RZM marked. Some really nice feature on this personalized dagger that was likely a Christmas Gift in 1938.
