SMGO-1048 Heer Officer Parts dagger (replaced blade)

A beautiful Puma blade with E Pack fittings. We know Puma bought fittings from other suppliers and Pack sold fittings. So, I suppose this combination would be ok if the blade was fit better. The grip has some play in it, and after inspection, it appears the tang threads are slightly cross threaded into the pommel. The pommel is removable without further damage. The grip play is due to the tang having too much room in the grip and the tang having too much space as it sits in the cross guard. These are an indication that this is not the original blade. Normally, these types of daggers i break up and sell the parts separately, but the dagger looks nice as a whole, so i figured i would leave it as found and sell it cheap. The pieces on their own are pretty desirable, being all early stuff.

The blade is fantastic on this one and easily rates a 9 out of 10! The heavy silvered scabbard looks great and only has a very small indentation on one side and some light wear and tear and some minor plate lifting. The fittings are all in good condition with the same silver finish. The grip is a gorgeous slant grip in near mint condition. The grip is solid celluloid with a semi translucent appearance. Some dealers call these “glass grips”.
