SMGP-0206 18 yr Heer service Medal in Zinc (Repro?)

Ive tried to get solid info on these and there seems to be a camp that says they didn’t exist and a camp that says they did. This one has a heavy silver finish (there is a scratch that shows us how heavy the silvering is) that’s not smooth and is very similar to the finish you would see on a zinc Ost medal with a dimpled finish from applying the finish when the Zinc was too hot (so I’ve read). It has a wider jump loop as you would expect just like on zinc medals on other awards. The ribbon is not correct which is concerning but real spare long service ribbon is not always easy to come by.  So, im selling this cheap because I hate to through it in the garbage and I think there might be some validity i these. If you like it, great, if not, that’s great too.
