SMGP-2540 WW2 File for Photo Recon trained William H. Luckey –Roger Aubry Estate

This is a good size file that has Luckey’s Military records and training. Looks like he was also in the 34th and was trained as a photographer. There are movement orders and other military memos as well. On the folder he wrote “If i am dead before Roger” and then put his address. So this file must have been sent to Roger Aubry for record keeping since Aubry was doing a lot of the heavy lifting regarding reunions and information of the unit after the war. A great item for someone looking for a research project or someone keeping information of phot recon units together.

Roger Aubry was in the 34th Photo Recon Squadron in WW2 which saw extensive air missions come their way. A highly praised unit. After the War, Aubry was actively involved in organizing reunions and record keeping.
