SMGP-2692  NSDAP Funeral Sash

A gorgeous double sided sash measuring 28″x5″. The sash is a smaller version of a funeral type sash that could be easily tied. Possibly to a wreath or in multiples across a pulpit or other area. It may have also been used for a non-funeral function but due to the silk fabric, certainly an inside event of importance. The fringe is silvered aluminum and in great condition although there seems to be one tassel missing. The sash is rather thick feeling because it is constructed of two pieces sewn together. The roundels are bevo stitched and seem to be the same size as used for armbands. There is some light water marks that can been seen in certain lighting, but not very noticeable. A scarce item!
