SMGP-1161 Hitler Wall Plaque *SOLD

These Cast wall plates were taken from Artist Walther Wolff Bust of Hitler that was done in the early 30’s. There were done by several firms and were available to buy and use in homes, offices, buildings etc. You will find them all with slight variations from maker to maker. This one is cast iron and a whopping 4 pounds 8 ounces! It measures about 12.5″x8.5″ and has some type of factory applied paint or anti corrosive coating on the front, which you can see has worn in some spots and gives the impression that the plaque is “dusty”. The reverse is marked Ges. Gesch and there is an “M”, presumably the maker mark. There is also a bracket cast into the plaque for easy hanging.
