SMGL-101 SA Dagger upper and lower gaurds Late period by E.W. *SOLD

It’s always nice to find a matched set of guards with internal foundry marks. It’s give the restorer or builder the extra bit of reassurance that the parts are genuine and belong to the dagger affixed to. These are the seldom seen aluminum variety that was nickel plated. The plating is worn and would either need to be re-plated, used as is or stripped completely, as you will encounter raw aluminum guards as well. The EW Casting firm was known to make guards for F. Dick, Hugo, Eppenstein, Friedrich G. and Rau & Koch. These guards would best on a transitional or late model RZM dagger.
