Signed by s/sgt. Wilbur L. Pumphrey and “Duren Germany” The banner has desirable brass suspension loops sewn in at one end and is in decent shape outside of the noticeable soiling. The soiling appears organic in nature and will most likely be able to be cleaned up a bit. I would recommend careful spot cleaning or a professional dry cleaning service. I do not recommend regular laundry on this piece as the Pen that the GI used will certainly bleed. If the stains don’t bother you, leave as is.
