SMGL-2372 Kriegsflagge 100 x 170 Holland Made With interesting writing *SOLD

A nice original flag with some light stains that look like they may launder out. It’s maker stamped NV.P.F.vVLissingen & Co SKATOENFABR: Helmond (Holland)
It’s also has “Prince Eugen” written in pen at the Top. It’s a nice fantasy to assume this came from the famous prince Eugene Battle ship, but there really is no documentation to back this up. The flag was acquired from a family in France, and that’s all we know about its history. Holland marked flags are generally more scarce on their own as it is. I don’t expect this one to last long.
