SMGL-2460 Hitler Youth Knife by Herm. KoneJung A-G *SOLD

This is an early example with a deep Motto on the blade. A well used knife, there is some wiggle in the blade. The grip plates and diamond look great! there is no cracking or damage to the diamond and it has that nice springy movement that collectors like to see. There is significant oxidation, which is common with these, but it looks like it was cleaned up a bit at some point. The scabbard is dent free with some of the original paint still present. The leather is complete with working snap, but heavily worn and I would suggest not snapping it to the handle to prevent further wear. All in all, a nice early example for a decent price.
