SMGR-0048 Luftwaffe Ground Assault pin by L/50?

Everyone loves an LDO marked Stick pin!

This one is a stunner made of German silver, a nickel alloy or 800 silver.  It’s LDO marked but lightly and it looks like it might be “50” which is badge maker Godet, easily one of the finest badge makers at the time and would make sense due to the intricate hand micro saw work to make it a true cut out. Godet didn’t make ground assaults, but I’m sure they had the ability to make nearly anything and I wonder if this was in one of their sales catalogs. But after all that speculation, it’s likely another maker al together because you really just can’t make it out.

Anyway, the hand saw work and rarity in any form make this a top item for your collection.
