SMGQ-0261 2nd Model Luftwaffe blade by F.W. Höller

A good condition blade here with only some minor dings to the edges and a light greying from some oxidation that was removed many years ago. Some very minor pitting can be seen as well. The blade tang was clearly modified to fit the grip. Interestingly, material was not takin off with a grinder but with some sort of metal chisel and hammer. The only think i can think of is that at the end of the later production period there was a shortage of grinding wheels and the person doing the assembly had to make do with other hand tools. Your guess is as good as mine here.
