200+ pages of fantastic information on winter fighting and survival. This book is a cumulation of German information that was translated and re-written and, in some cases, diagrams were re-drawn. I’m not sure if this book was intended to just help the Americans understand the Germans winter techniques or if it was a way to get more survival tactics quickly to the Americans. Perhaps a bit of both, because the information in here is great. From weapons, to food storage, to tank traps to cold weather foot care…it’s all in here!
