SMGM-3811 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Paul Weyersberg

A fantastic dagger aside from a banged up scabbard. The grip is a desirable medium pumpkin orange on one side with a lighter shade on the other. There are no cracks or chips to the grip, just some wear marks and light dings. The cross guard has hand engraved oakleaves to match the hand embellished leaves on the pommel. The blade is the high quality nickel plated type we usually see form this maker. The acid etched logo looks fantastic. There is a perfectly centered Luftwaffe inspection stamp just under it what we often see on this maker as well. The blade shows runner wear but rates a 9 out of 10 in my book. The scabbard is the original one that came with it, but i think a new Weyersberg appropriate scabbard would be a nice upgrade and ethically responsible as well. The included portepee is well worn but does the job. There is no hidden damage under the cord.  A great dagger and if you could find the right scabbard, it would be a super nice one all the way around.
