Biography
Oberfeldwebel Hans Strippel, Panzer-Regiment 1 / 1. Panzer-Division, knocked out 37 T-34 medium tanks with his Panzer V at Cherkassy. The “Panzerfuchs der ERSTEN” (the Panzer Fox of the first one) was awarded the “Oak Leaves” for destroying more than 70 T-34’s. As the fourth soldier of the 1st Panzer-Division he received this award at June 4, 1944.
