SMGN-0758 K98 Bayonet and Frog by Josua Corts Sohn 1943

A raw blade with a few dings on the spine. The edge is good with no grind as it left the factory. The blade is 43 DDL marked (Josua Corts Sohn code) with some light oxidation and water marks. The hilt and grip plates are in lightly worn and oxidized condition. The scabbard numbers do not match the blade. the scabbard is in good dent free condition with light superficial oxidation. The frog shows age an wear and appears to be dated 1939. There is a piece of old cloth tape “fixing” a torn part in the leather near the lug.
