SMGN-1409 Double Etched Heer dagger by Emil Voos W/ Ivory grip

This is a rare opportunity to get a near mint condition, high quality Voos dagger! This dagger has a beautiful Double etched chromed blade as you would expect. The runner wear and oxidation is very minute. The condition of the blade is easily a 9.5 out of 10. The high quality silvered cross guard and pommel look nearly perfect with just the smallest signs of wear. The grip, which was a an expensive option, is a gorgeous authentic Ivory. It has beautiful, fine striations. It has two natural hairline fissures on each side of the grip. The grip was expertly carved for those fissures to be on the sides and not distracting on the front or rear face. I personally like more fissures like this on the front, but everyone is different and im sure at the time the craftsmen tried to hide them. The grip is perfect otherwise and has no chips or structural issues. The portepee seems to be original and shows some light wear. there is no damage or hidden problems under the portepee.  The scabbard is silvered and matches the other fittings perfectly. The scabbard is dent free with some light spidering showing through the plating. The hangers are your standard deluxe style with some light wear. This dagger is stellar overall and would be the pinnacle of many collections.
