SMGO-0226 Later Period Navy Dagger by Puma

This Navy dagger comes with a very nice condition knot. The grip is celluloid over wood style and shows some cracks which is very common with these later ones. The release button on these is threaded two-piece design and the button top is missing. This is rather typical. You could hunt for a new one or see if a jeweler can fabricate a new one. The remaining portion still works fine and you can easily remove the blade from the scabbard. The scabbard is nearly dent free with just a small dent on one side. The blade is fantastic, showing only light wear. The fouled anchor motif is well executed and impressive. The Puma maker mark is nicely stamped and is the later diamond style. A real nice dagger of a lesser seen producer.
