This is the very well known postcard: Nicht Du bist der Matstab! Sondern die Front! (You are not the criterion, but the front!)
This card was issued for the Tag der NSDAP im Generalgouvernement, from 13-15 August 1943.
It is excellent + condition and has a first day stamp from the generalgouvernement on the reverse. The card stock has more of a vintage look to it.
The scenery on the obverse is after a painting by Will Tschech, and shows a German Wehrmacht soldier carrying a wounded comrade on his shoulders and away from the frontlines.
