SMGL-1919 NSDAP Party Badge RZM M1/14 Matthias Oechsler & Sohn *SOLD

This is one of the few makers who used an opaque red enamel rather then a translucent. This maker is also reproduced and you will notice the easiest thing to spot on reproductions is the forward slash between the M1 and the 14 is too short. The line on these extends well past the bottom of the M1 making it correct. Out side of some minor manufacturing flaws, this enamel is in great shape, just showing average wear and finish oxidation. The swastika is a little lighter in the center which is attributed to some white getting into the black during the firing process.
The maker mark on this one is 80% covered by excessive material from the silvering process, but we can still make out the forward slash here and it is 100% authentic. We have it priced a little less to accommodate for this.
