SMGL-2108 Iron Cross 2nd class by Paul Meybauer (marked) *SOLD

This cross is in pretty good shape with just a bit of oxidation to the core. Interesting things about this cross, the core is a bit short on the left arm. Meaning, when they punched out the core centers, this one for some reason wasn’t the proper shape. Never the less it made it into the frame. You can see daylight if you look at it head on. Proof that the Germans weren’t always as careful as we sometimes think they were. Clearly marked “7” on the ribbon loop. Comes with a newer, but authentic ribbon.
