SMGL-2135 Italian MVSN “black shirt” Leaders dagger, chained 1937 *SOLD

These leader daggers are extremely scarce and desirable. MVSN = “Milizia Volontaria Per La Sicurezza Nationale” This is a earlier 1937 chained version as contrasted to the 1939 version with leather hangers. I think you will find this one to be in excellent condition. The dagger itself has an aluminum hilt with minor wear and only small signs of being knocked around. Manny of these daggers have really bad dents in the soft aluminum birds head. Although there are small dings, nothing really bad or distracting. The black grip panels are in fantastic shape, as is the fascist grip emblem. The blade shows some light surface scratches to the chrome finish, but this is pretty typical of these. The blade still remains remarkably bright and impressive with no oxidation and the original factory sharpened edge. The all steel scabbard is dent free with a fantastic amount of original paint still present! The brass chain goes up to the “M” (M legion) fitting and then to the belt clip that’s embellished with a fascist eagle and SPQR. This is a fantastic opportunity to pick up a rare dagger in above average condition. If I’m not mistaken, this might be the only 1937 currently available on the public market.
