If you are looking for a Luftwaffe sword under $1200 then you should look into this bad boy. The blade is super nice with only two small oxidation spots on one side near the tip. The scabbard throat and cross guard are numbers matching (3). There are obvious leather issues, but if you like a deal and don’t mind the leather then its a win for you. If you have access to a professional leather restoration service then this might be an option as well. Either way, there is plenty of room for you to invest more into it.
